PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a robot system, a sheath, and a robot device capable of greatly improving an amusement property. SOLUTION: The robot system is provided with the robot device expressing a predetermined action, the sheath mounted on the robot device freely removably, an information holding means arranged in the sheath for holding specific information matching the sheath, an information detecting means arranged in the robot device for detecting the specific information held in the information means in the sheath when the sheath is mounted on the robot device, and a controlling means changing an action expressing pattern if necessary on the basis of the detected specific information.
