PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive fusible plug, having high visibility in which leakage is prevented at a temperature lower than the set working temperature of the fusible plug. SOLUTION: In the fusible plug holding a plug body made of a low-melting point alloy in the spill port of the body, the low-melting point alloy principally comprises Sn and the inner surface of the release port is plated with Ni. Alternatively, a rod-like member, having high thermal conductivity may be arranged at the center of the plug member, the spill port may be opened into a pressure container in the direction different from the leaking direction of the plug member, also the spill port may be opened to the outside of the pressure container in more than one direction substantially parallel with the sidewall of the pressure container, or the body may be provided with a pan for receiving the low- melting point alloy leaked through the release port. The fusible plug is mounted on the condenser of a refrigeration system.
