PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam drum control device in which a water level can be properly controlled even if a flow rate of consumed steam at a supplied location with steam is rapidly changed. SOLUTION: An output of a water level controller 12 for controlling a water level of a drum is added to an output of a steam flow rate transmitter 151 by an adder 152. At a supplied water flow rate controller 112, the output of the adder which is a target value of the supplied water flow rate controller 112 is compared with a supplied water flow rate measured by a supplied water flow rate transmitter 111, and then the supplied water flow rate is controlled by a supplied water control valve 113 in response to this result. When a rapid change of the steam flow rate is detected by a holding instruction generator 122, an output of the supplied water flow rate controller is kept at a specified value for a specified period of time, thereby preventing a water level from being abnormally increased or decreased in response to a variation in water level caused by air bubbles generated or diminished within the drum.
