PURPOSE: A dielectric ceramic composition for high frequency, which has a high dielectric constant, a high Q-value in the microwave region, and the resonance frequency temperature coefficient which can be controlled so as to be in the vicinity of 0 (ppm/deg.C), and which is excellent in thermal shock resistance, as well as its use are provided. CONSTITUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition comprises composite oxide containing Ba, Ti, and at least one of Sm and Nd as main components, and Mn compound and Ta compound as minor components. A dielectric resonator is operated by electronically connecting dielectric ceramic which contains the dielectric ceramic composition with input/output terminal. The dielectric filter comprises the dielectric resonator and exterior connecting tool. Also, dielectric duplexer comprising the at least two dielectric filter, as well as communication equipment comprising the dielectric duplexer are provided.
