PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of automatically carrying out a deboning treatment of the upper half of chicken carcass by which the treatment from the charging and attachment of the upper half of the chicken carcass through the separation of chest meat and breast meat by a required deboning treatment to discharge of stripped chicken bones is carried out while absorbing the individual difference such as the right and left unbalance of workpiece and completely reducing the mixing of a foreign matter caused by the crush of triquetral bone when stripping the chest meat, and the tearing of the breast meat at a breast meat-removing step, by a completely automated treatment while keeping a high yield, and further to provide an apparatus therefore. SOLUTION: This apparatus for automatically carrying out the deboning treatment of the upper half of chicken carcass is constituted of a main tact- conveying part 45 and an assistant tact-conveying part 46, and the main tact- conveying part 45 comprises 1st to 12th stations including a main tact-conveyor 50, a chest meat-stripping part 30 and a part 31 for forming a cut in a breast meat.
