PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollenless tall fescue characterized by having Italian lolium VII-type cytoplasm, and to provide a method for creating the above pollenless tall fescue. SOLUTION: This new type pollenless tall fescue is extremely high in pollenlessness rate and by no means inferior to conventional tall fescue both normal in plant vigor and seed yield at all.
