PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a portable terminal which generates sound without the use of a speaker or a sounder and informs a person carrying the terminal of an incoming with vibration. SOLUTION: This portable terminal is equipped with a vibrating motor 2-2 for vibration function which vibrates the body of the terminal upon receiving an incoming, and is characterized in that the terminal has striking mechanisms (1-3, 1-4, 1-5) fitted to the rotary shaft of the vibrating motor 2-2 and a singing device 1-1 which is incorporated in the body of the portable terminal and has a metallic sound plate 1-2 which generates a striking sound upon the striking effect of the striking mechanisms 1-3, 1-4, 1-5.
