PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of an image in intermediate gradation of a dot screen in image data of an image formation object.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes an image determination part 101 for determination of a gradation value in each prescribed area for inputted image data, and a screen generation part 102 for generating a void dot shape at each dot center part of a dot pattern of a screen where an input area ratio that is an area ratio of block and white in a dot image corresponding to the gradation value is smaller than a value at which an image defect appears.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
