PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source supplying device and method and a liquid crystal display device which realize power consumption saving and provide the enhanced display quality. SOLUTION: A divided voltage generated by a voltage dividing part is impedance-converted by an impedance converting part (operational amplifier). Then, in a fixed period just after the rising (or falling) of a reference clock DCK, currents are allowed to flow through the fixed current source of the driving part of the impedance converting part by using a control signal CONT1. When an AC signal FR is an L level, currents flowing through the fixed current source of the driving part of the impedance converting part connecting to power supply voltages V1 and V2 for driving are limited by using control signals CONT2 and 3, and when the AC signal FR is an H level, the currents flowing trough the fixed current source of the driving part of the impedance converting part connected to power supply voltages V3 and V4 for driving are limited by using control signals CONT3 and 4.
