摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of performing a high-definition display and an enlarged display even when the number of drive ICs for operating a LCD and the number of flexible printed circuit boards are reduced. SOLUTION: This display device is provided with a liquid crystal display element (LCD) 11 having connection parts to be connected with liquid crystal electrodes (which are not shown in the figure) in plural drawing out directions, a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) 12 being a sheet as a whole which is capable of being connected with the liquid crystal electrodes in the plural drawing out directions and a LCD holder (LCD HOLDER) 14. Then, the above described flexible printed circuit board (FPC) 12 is folded under the above described holder 14 so as to be foled in the holder 14. Moreover, the number of expensive drive ICs can be reduced by allowing drive ICs whose number is smaller than the number of draw-outs of the plural directions which are drawn out from the liquid crystal electrodes to be mounted on the above described flexible circuit board 12.
