PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spectacles which prevent slip-down of the spectacles by determining the positions of pads in compliance with the nasal crests of individual persons in such a manner that the pads are sufficiently hooked to the flanks of the nasal crests. SOLUTION: (a) The front ends of pad arms (11) and (11) are provided with screw passage holes (12) and (12) and embedment counterplates (10) and (10) are mounted at their terminals. (b) The pads (8) and (8) are formed by embedding the embedment counterplates (10) and (109 mounted with the pad arms (11) and (11) into resins. (c) The junction boxes (6) and (6) are provided with the screw passage holes 812) and (12) and the screw holes (13) and (13) to which pawls (5) and (5) are mounted. (d) The pad arms (11) and (11) projected from the pads (8) and (8) are put into the junction boxes (6) and (6) and are mounted by screws (7) and (7). (f) The terminals of adjusting rods (4) and (4) are mounted at frames (2) and (2) and the junction boxes (6) and (6) are mounted by the pawls (5) and (5) at the front ends.
