SOLUTION: Error data from a trouble detecting means 2 mounted in the vehicle 1 is interpreted by the data interpreting means 12 of the diagnostic apparatus 12 for troubles, and an error message indicating the interpreted contents of troubles is added to the error data, which is then displayed on a display means 15.
