PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subminiature positioning orientation detecting sensor in a simple structure, having a small number of components. SOLUTION: This positioning orientation detection sensor consists of a nonmagnetic housing 1, forming an L-shaped accommodation chamber 10, a permanent magnet 4 accommodated in the accommodation chamber 10 so as to move slidingly by rotating and a magnetic sensor 5 disposed on a position, counterposed to at least one end face of the accommodation chamber 10 in the external surfaces of the housing 1.
