PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bating device that is suitable for a physically challenging, elderly or other person to have a bath in a sitting position and poses a lighter burden on a caregiver. SOLUTION: This bathing device comprises a wheelchair A having a chair part 1 movable backward via travel rollers 6 along a pair of rails 4a and 2b laid on a truck 2; and a bathtub B having a chair support 7 situated under a seat portion 5 when the chair part 1 is situated in the bathtub, and a pair of rails 8a and 8b disposed on the right and left sides of the chair support for connection to the rear ends of the rails on the truck 2. With both rails interconnected, a backward movement of the chair part 1 can situate it on the support 7 in the bathtub. Preferably, the seat portion 5 is formed with an opening 9 in the center, the chair support 7 is provided on the top with a toilet bowl part 10 where excrements are discharged, washing nozzles 11 are arranged for groin washing, and a stop valve 13 is disposed in a drain pipe 12 from the toilet bowl part 10, which construction can function as a toilet used before bathing.
