PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image data output device for outputting image data representative of one image while converting into image data representative of a partial image being recorded on each sheet when one image is outputted while divided onto a plurality of sheets in which the image data is prevented from being divided more than required. SOLUTION: Maximum number of sheets used for outputting one image is designated depending on the operation so that one image is not divided more than the maximum number of sheets.
