The shield for the protruding part of a closure cylinder (14) consists of a plate (11) fixed to the door (13) , and a protective element (12) supported by the plate and telescopically movable in relation to the plate. The protective element supports a rotary disc (22) with a slot for a key to go through for operating the cylinder. The plate is covered by a cover-plate (26).
