PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device which can cancel solid- state pattern noise by generating dispersion caused in an output signal, due to circuit configuration of the solid-state image pickup device at random for at every pixel. SOLUTION: Photoelectric conversion parts X11 to Xmn for outputting electrical signal, corresponding to incident light quantity to signal lines 1-1 to 1-m, and constant current sources I11 to Imn for voltage-amplifying output currents outputted form the photoelectric conversion parts X11 to Xmn are provided in pixels G11 to Gmn. Although dispersion is caused in the output signals from the respective pixels due to the dispersion of the characteristics of the constant current sources, dispersions do not appear as fixed pattern noise but are caused random by as in the case, when the constant current sources are connected to the signal lines 1-1 to 1-m and are installed in respective columns. When an image where such output signals are reproduced is viewed, the dispersion is not recognized by a human eyes and appears as an image having no dispersion.
