PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus which eliminates uneven local heating, allowing dimensional variations in production of a core material, wherein the core material, an excitation coil and conductive components can be disposed at predetermined positions, suppressing the spread in the heating variation of a heating element, and also suppressing uneven temperatures caused by partial variation in heating calorific values, and an image forming device. SOLUTION: A heating apparatus of a magnetic induction heating method wherein a magnetic field generated by means of a magnetic field generation means which comprises core materials 16a, 16b and an excitation coil 15 wound round the core materials is applied to a conductive member to let heat generated in the conductive member due to eddy current heat the heated material, where the core materials 16a, 16b comprise a plurality of split core materials which are held in array with a holder member 14a.
