PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inductance drop of a choke coil having the functions of a plurality of choke coils with one magnetic core when the coil is energized. SOLUTION: A coil 1 is housed in the space between the inner pipe and outer pipe of the magnetic core 3 having groove-like gaps 4 so that a magnetic flux 5 may be generated in the revolving direction around the periphery of the core 3. A winding 2 is wound around the core 3 through the center hole section of the core 3 so that a magnetic flux 6 may be generated in the peripheral direction of the core 3. Namely, the two magnetic fluxes 5 and 6 are generated in orthogonal direction in one magnetic core 3. The gaps 4 which are provided in the bottom section of the core 3 in which the magnetic fluxes 5 and 6 cross each other increase the magnetic resistance of the core 3, reduce the interference between the fluxes 5 and 6, and can prevent inductance drop of the choke coil. Consequently, the size, weight, attaching area, and cost of the choke coil can be reduced.
