PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the generation of heat owing to a beam leak or the like and to prevent damage owing to heat to enable transmission even if a high output laser beam is transmitted. SOLUTION: A fitting surface 15 between a sleeve 14 and the end part side of a main body 13 is formed into a tapered shape gradually becoming a small diameter toward the tip end side of an optical fiber, the tapered angle of the fitting surface 15 is set to 20 degrees, the contacting area of the fitting surface 15 is widened and uniformized, and the optical fiber 1 is supported in the stable state that a refractive index or the like is not changed. Thus, the generation of heat owing to the beam leak or the like is eliminated and damage owing to heat is prevented even if the high output laser beam of 3 kw or higher in average output is transmitted.
