PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection level measuring device capable of widening a dynamic range of effective value detection compared with hitherto. SOLUTION: A gain control means 2 for changing a gain by a control voltage 11 is provided on a pre-stage of an effective value detection part 3, and control is executed by the gain control means 2 so that a signal level inputted into the effective value detection part 3 becomes a constant level, and the signal level of a signal to be measured is measured and displayed from the control voltage 11. By executing an operation like this, the selection level measuring device for executing effective value detection can secure the dynamic range of a variable quantity portion of the gain control means 2. Therefore, the dynamic range of the effective value detection can be widened compared with hitherto.
