PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic packaging machine for disposable wooden chopsticks, wherein the non-defective item rate can be improved, and in addition, an initial phase adjustment can be easily performed at the start of the operation. SOLUTION: A packaging film 2 of which the cross section is bent into a U-shape is pinched by a pair of vertical sealing drums 9, 9. Then, the packaging film 2 is vertically sealed while feeding the film 2 to the rear side, and is formed into a cylindrical shape. A cut mark section 11 which is printed on the packaging film 2 with an interval is pinched by a pair of lateral sealing drums 10, 10, and a lateral sealing is performed. Then, the laterally sealed section is cut by passing between a pair of cutter drums 12, 12. Thus, a product housing disposable wooden chopsticks 7 in the packaging film 2 which is vertically and laterally sealed is produced by this automatic packaging machine for disposable wooden chopsticks. In this case, the pair of vertical sealing drums 9, 9 are rotated by a major motor MM. At the same time, the pair of lateral sealing drums 10, 10 and the cutter drums are respectively rotated by a subsidiary motor SM.
