PURPOSE: A dual fuel system for a gas turbine engine is provided to reduce the time for starting up the engine and the manufacturing cost by efficiently providing the fuel to a combustor. CONSTITUTION: A dual fuel system for the gas turbine engine is composed of a device for providing the gas fuel, a device for providing the liquid fuel, and fuel control valves for converting the gas fuel to the liquid fuel, or the liquid fuel to the gas fuel. The dual fuel system provides the gas fuel and liquid fuel to the combustor, alternatively.
