PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling/heating type air conditioner comprising an outdoor heat exchanger having a plurality of refrigerant channels in which an arrangement of balance capillary tubes alternative to conventional one is employed. SOLUTION: Uniform distribution branch tubes (e.g. Y branch or T branch distributors) having a collision wall in the refrigerant channel from the inlet pipe of a distributor are arranged horizontally. At the time of heating, refrigerant supplied from the underside collides against the wall and distributed to the left and right.
