PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate vibration of a carburetor body to a fuel regulating needle valve receives, to suppress deflection of a tip needle and to hold the tip needle concentrically with an outlet passage. SOLUTION: A stepped hole 9 with reduced inside diameter successively inward from a wall surface, a screw hole 8, a valve chest 7 and an outlet passage 6 are formed on the carburetor body 2. A shaft part 24 with reduced outside diameter successively from a head part 25 to a tip, a screw shaft part 23, a stem 22 and a tip needle 21 are formed on the fuel regulating needle valve 10. A synthetic resin cylindrical retainer 14 is press-fitted into the stepped hole 9, the tip needle 21 is inserted into the outlet passage 6, the stem 22 is inserted into the valve chest 7, the screw shaft part 23 is screwed into the screw hole 8 and the shaft part 24 is press-fitted into the shaft hole 15 of the retainer 14. A plurality of radial direction pins 12, 13 made of a synthetic resin are supported on the stem 22 and both ends of the pins 12 and 13 are frictionally engaged to an inner peripheral surface of the valve chest 7.
