PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception signal processing unit and a reception signal processing method by which the Q of a received signal can easily be grasped depending on the bit error rate BER (D) measured with respect to a threshold level (D). SOLUTION: An arithmetic processing section 4 applies a prescribed conversion arithmetic operation to a BER(D) distribution curve obtained from a BER measurement section 3 receiving changed threshold levels (D) so as to allow the Q to be visually grasped through a graph displayed on a display section 5.
