HEAT RADIATION MECHANISM OF ELECTRIC ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for radiating heat of a fan driver IC. SOLUTION: A heat-radiation fin 14 conventionally attached to a power module 13 for a compressor is also used for heat radiation of a fan driver IC12. The electric power loss of the fan driver IC12 is significantly less than that of compressor power module 13, so the fan driver IC12 is heat-radiated easily at a low cost. The maximum temperature of the heat radiation fin 14 is limited by control with a temperature sensor 13a conventionally incorporated in the compressor power module 13, so reliability for temperature of the fun driver IC12 is assured by limiting the amount of current for the fan driver IC12 to drive a fan 21.
