PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent compressed liquid from being leaked, thereby improving the effect of compression. SOLUTION: The compression filter plate of a filter press is provided with a board 2, a diaphragm 3 mounted to at least one side of the board 2, and is constituted in a way that the diaphragm 3 is expanded and shrunk by the supply and discharge of a compressed liquid to and from a space between the outer surface of the board 2 and the inner surface of the diaphragm 3. A communication passage member 81 is fixed to the peripheral part of the board 2. The communication passage member 81 has a communication pipe line 104 inside, which connects a filtrate groove formed on the outer surface of the diaphragm 3 to a filtrate discharge passage 105 formed on a part nearer to the peripheral edge than the compressed liquid supply space in the board 2, and is not deformed by the expanding force of the diaphragm.
