PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized chronographic timepiece equipped with a chronograph coupling lever device suitable for starting and stopping the chronographic timepiece. SOLUTION: This chronographic timepiece comprises an operation lever 414 movable to a main plate 102 and a column wheel 420 rotated in one direction on the basis of the sliding movement of the operation lever 414. The operation cam 420 has ratchet teeth 24 and driving teeth 422. The tooth number of the ratchet teeth 424 is 2 times the tooth number of the driving teeth 422. The operation lever 424 is provided engageable with the ratchet teeth 424. This chronographic timepiece is further provided with a stop lever 440 capable of stopping the rotation of a second chronographic wheel 214 by the rotation of the driving teeth 422 in a mode of performing no chronographic measurement.
