PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key telephone system that can smoothly shift to reformation of an original speech after the end of an interruption speech without the need for a complicated operation. SOLUTION: Calling a slave set A (2A) for an original speech stored in a main control section 15 can indicate the end of an interruption speech by the main control section 15 in response to the end of the interruption speech by a slave set B (2B). When the slave set A makes no reply, other slave set is called and the original speech by the slave set A is reformed by using a telephone line 11 depending on the response.
