PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce noise components generated at generation of multipath by minimizing sound cut off. SOLUTION: An electric field strength detector 6 detects the electric field strength of a received signal, an electric field fluctuation detector 9 detects the change of the edge waveform shape of an output signal of the detector 6 to generate an attenuator drive signal, and an attenuator 8 attenuates the output signal of a demodulator 7 according to the attenuator drive signal.
