PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for the bandwidth of a dual mode band- pass filter facilitated in miniaturization and band widening and improved in the degree of freedom in design. SOLUTION: In the bandwidth control method for a dual mode band-pass filter 1, the desired bandwidth is obtained by having a metal film 3 formed on one side or inside a dielectric substrate 2, forming a through hole 3a for coupling two of resonance on this metal film 3, coupling a pair of input/output coupling circuits 5 and 6 to the metal film 3, and controlling the position of the through hole 3a.
