PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser oscillator of stable quality for a long period where degradation of parts within a case is prevented even after use for a long period, related to such laser oscillator as laser beam is generated by exciting laser gas by discharge. SOLUTION: There are provided an electrode tube 15 where laser gas 10 is excited by discharge to generate laser beam 11, a case 13 in which the electrode tube 15 and the like are housed, and an optical catalyst layer 20 provided on the internal wall surface of the case 13.
