PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring supporting structure of a camera by which a member to be driven is stably operated by spring force even though it is continuously used without specially using an expensive plastic material. SOLUTION: By the camera spring supporting structure, a groove 15e having nearly the same width as the outside diameter of a spring piece 17b is formed at a shutter driving lever made of plastic by which urging force is received from the spring piece 17b of one end of a metallic torsion spring 17 and which is displaced while coming into slidable contact, and the spring piece 17b is engaged with the groove 15e. The shutter driving lever 15 is turned from a charge position to a release completion position by the urging force from the spring piece 17b be responding to shutter release operation, so that an exposure aperture 6 is opened by kicking the protrusion 7 of the shutter blade 2 while turning. The torsion spring 17 is a torsion coil spring, and coil part 17c that is a supporting point thereof is held by a boss 12 provided in the vicinity of the boss 10 of the shutter driving lever 15.
