PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a varnish application method of an electric motor, which does not require the attachment and detachment of a heavy electric motor and can prevent generation of a part that cannot be coated. SOLUTION: As application preparation work, a curing means 14 for preventing bonding composed of a material having no affinity with varnish 13 is inserted between a rotor 2 and a stator core 13. After that, as the first process of the varnish application on the winding 4, a long-necked varnish application means 12 is used for executing from both ends in the axial direction of a case 6. As a second process of varnish application, a long-necked shaft part 12a of the long-necked varnish application means 12 is inserted from a cooling hole 2a of the rotor 2 for spraying onto the inside surface of the winding 4, and then the long-necked shaft part 12a is inserted into the gap between the stator core 3 and case 6 and is sprayed to the outside surface of the winding 4.
