PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely preventing generation of a flaw of an extruded tube without impairing a water substitution property and a rust prevention effect due to a water substitution agent of an extruded coil material for drawing with using a low cost apparatus and in a simple operation. SOLUTION: In manufacturing an aluminum coil material subjected to extrusion by an extrusion press, water cooling, coating of a water substitution agent and then coiling to a coiling reel, the water substitution agent of the same kind oil as the drawing oil used in a next drawing is coated, further, a lubrication oil having a viscosity of 60-150 cst (40 deg.C) is coated for preventing generation of a flaw and then the material is coiled to the reel.
