PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical pump capable of performing operation for a long period without maintenance and providing an increased life. SOLUTION: A reciprocating pump 50 is constituted such that a moving member 53, a flexure bearing 70, and a linear motor 80 are contained in a housing 51. A cylinder part 52 is protruded from the end part of the housing 51. A piston part 54 formed integrally with the moving member 53 is inserted in the cylinder part 52 to partition a pump chamber 56. The moving member 53 is supported by the flexure bearing 70. The moving member 53 is driven by the linear motor 80 for reciprocating. The piston part 52 is reciprocated in a state to be held in non-contact with the cylinder part 52.
