PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square frame with stiles and its assembling method capable of performing the assembling work easily, carrying out labor saving work and automation, improving the productivity and suppressing the production cost to a low level. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left stiles 11 and 12 and a pair of upper and lower rails 13 and 14 are prepared, these stiles 11 and 12 and these rails 13 and 14 are butted each other at the end faces and temporarily assembled by an adhesive or the like, thereafter, at each corner portion 10A (10B, 10C and 10D), fittings 25 such as screws, nails, dowels or the like are screwed, driven or fitted through insertion holes 21 and 22 formed from one outer surface among the stiles 11 (12) and rails 13 (14) toward the other side in such a manner that they straddle on both the stiles 11 (12) and rails 13 (14) through the butted end surface 15A.
