PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door damper capable of easily and stably executing the damping of a door at a low cost when a damping operation for preventing the door from being suddenly opened and shut. SOLUTION: The door damper is constituted of a damper body 7 mounted to a sliding door 1 side, a rotary plate 10 stored in the damper body 7 and rotating together with a shaft 12 inclined at an angle of forty-five degrees, a viscous fluid 11 filling the inside of the damper body 7 and surrounding the circumference of the rotary plate 10, a conical friction roller 13 projected from the damper body 7, mounted to the shaft 12 inclining at an angle of forty-five degrees and rotating together with the rotary plate 10 and a contact member 14 mounted so as to make the friction roller 13 contact at least one position in the neighborhood of positions when the sliding door 1 is shut and when the door is opened, and the mounting height of the door damper body 7 to the sliding door 1 side is variably constituted to constitute a contact position of the friction roller 13 to the contact member 14 in an adjustable manner.
