PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow setting an imaging direction as desired, viewing a liquid crystal display at an angle that facilitates viewing and obtaining a satisfactory photograph image when an operator takes a photograph of himself or herself. SOLUTION: A body 5 has an upper and bottom face, and a first and second side opposing with each other so that they couple the top and bottom faces. The bottom face is made to be planar so that a camera can be placed on a desk or the like. The top face is notched in an approximate U-shape and a camera unit 8 having a lens container 7 is supported at the notched portion by a horizontal spindle 6 so that it turns towards the first and second side. At the first side of the body 5, an LCD 2 is disposed that displays an image photographed by the camera unit 8. At the first side, an operation button 31 is provided for controlling the action of the LCD 2.
