PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact ink jet head of a high resolution which has a reliability and a productivity improved and in which ink chambers can be highly integrated and electrodes can be simply wired. SOLUTION: The ink chamber 26 is defined by piezoelectric material substrates 20 and 21 and non piezoelectric material substrates 22 and 23. The electrode 50 is set to the piezoelectric material substrates 20 and 21. In the ink jet head 2, a voltage is impressed to the electrode 50 to deform the ink chamber 26, whereby ink is discharged from a nozzle hole 28. Part of the electrode 50 is led out through through holes 40 of the non piezoelectric material substrate 22. The non piezoelectric material substrate 22 has holes 220a formed by spot exposing and developing a photosensitive sheet 220. The photosensitive sheet 220 is stacked in many layers with the holes registered and baked with pressure.
