The invention relates to a method for producing a liquid setting accelerator for a hydraulic binder, comprising the following steps: (1) an aqueous aluminium, iron and/or lithium sulphate and (2) powder from at least one calcium (sulpho) aluminate are mixed, followed by wet grinding of the mixture thus obtained. The invention also relates to a liquid setting accelerator for a hydraulic binder which can be obtained according to said method and to the use of said liquid setting accelerator in the production of a cement paste, mortar or concrete.
