PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at a low cost a burner used for cooking utensil such as a cooking stove, in which user's omittance of mounting a boilover shielding body is prevented from occurring, an enhanced heat-efficiency is secured, and besides clogging of flame ports with boilover and electric corrosion are not generated. SOLUTION: A burner member 1 is turned with an air path 6 as its axis, and the part between a flame port molding 5 and a boilover-shielding body 4 is cut off. Thus, a beam part 7 protruding in the path 6 becomes a support 10 for the shield 4, and a void 9 can easily be formed communicating with the air path 6 between the shielding body 4 and the molding 5.
