PURPOSE: A method for learning Chinese characters is provided to prevent the education of Chinese characters from being biased in any one field by presenting a useful text consisting of Chinese characters and then performing the translation, speaking and listening of the text as well as presenting the mean, pronunciation, similar foreign words of respective words structuring the text. CONSTITUTION: First, a foreign text to be learned is selected from a learning data DB to be provided to a user accessed to a learning system. Then, information including the pronunciation and interpretation of the selected text and the meanings of respective words of the text, the sound comparison between a native and a learner, images related to the text, and other words having meanings similar to the words of the text are extracted from the learning data DB. Finally, a plurality of words including the words of the text are provided from the learning data DB, and information including the interpretation of the text are provided if the array of words selected by the user from the plurality of words is equal to the text.
