PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switching structure of a wall paper starching machine capable of easily opening and fixing the upper part of structure body, particularly opening with one arm and surely fixing. SOLUTION: The upper part structure is capable of being opened or closed by a hinge capable of opening and closing the upper part structure body in the front face side of the starching machine main body to the lower part structure body by pivotally supporting the upper part structure body by the rotary center of the back face side of the starching machine main body. A group of latch locks for fixing the upper part structure body to the lower part structure body is provided on each of both side parts of the starching machine main body and an unlocking structure for unlocking simultaneously a group of the latch locks is provided on the upper part structure body.
