PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organdy-toned woven or knitted fabric having an excellent stretching property and soft feeling which are not attained from the conventional false twist monofilament, by using a PTT-conjugate monofilament yarn. SOLUTION: The woven or knitted fabric is produced by using a conjugate monofilament yarn produced by sticking polyester polymers to each other along the longitudinal direction of the fibers in a side-by-side state. The polyester polymers are different from each other, and one of them is a polyester mainly composed of polytrimethylene terephthalate.
