PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower an anisotropy of a rubber composition obtained by compounding metallic salts of ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid with ethylenic unsaturated nitrile-conjugated diene highly saturated copolymer rubber wherein the content of the conjugated diene unit is >=30 wt.%. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is composed of (A) 100 wt. parts of rubber constituent including 70 pts.wt. or more of ethylenic unsaturated nitrile- conjugated diene highly saturate rubber wherein the content of the conjugated diene unit is <=30 wt.% (B) 10-120 pts.wt. of metallic salt of ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid, (C) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of organic peroxices, and (D) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of methylene donors.
