摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of cutting of especially diamond rotary dresser and to form high-precise and high-efficient dressing throughout a long period, in the super-abrasive tool using diamond and CBN(Cubic Baron Nitride). SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions is approximately uniformly formed on the surface of a super-abrasive layer. By forming the protrusions, the number of working abrasive grains is decreased to improve chamfering to a workpiece (or a grinding wheel), and by securing sufficient capacity of a chip pocket, smooth discharge of chip is effected to enable the execution of extremely high efficient and high precise machining. To form the protrusion, a reversal plating method is employed. Its process comprises a process wherein a spherical object is temporarily fixed on a matrix inner peripheral wall, and a plating layer is formed; a process wherein a spherical object is removed and diamond abrasive grains are fixed on its surface by a plated layer; a process wherein a base metal is set at the center of the matrix and a diamond layer and the base metal are joined together by a low melting point metal; and a process wherein the matrix is removed.
