PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor preventing high pressure gas from leaking out to the low pressure side and capable of restraining reduction in volumetric efficiency and reduction in energy consumption efficiency of the compressor by sealing clearance between an annular seal member and a seal groove with the annular seal member for slidingly sealing to partition two kinds of pressures when low pressure acts on the central side of an end plate of a turning scroll and high pressure acts on the outside. SOLUTION: In this scroll compressor for arranging the annular seal member 11 on a back face of the end plate 5a of the turning scroll 5 for slidingly sealing and partitioning so as to operate two kinds of pressures of inner peripheral side pressure applied to the inside of the end plate 5a and outer peripheral side pressure higher than the inner peripheral side pressure and applied to the outside of the end plate 5a and arranging an elastic member 13 for pressing the annular seal member 11 to the turning scroll 5 via a ring member 14, the annular seal member 11 is formed as a double ring-shaped structure of an outer ring-shaped member 11a and an inner ring-shaped member 11b fitted to the inside of the outer ring-shaped member 11a.
