PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote maintenance system that dispenses with a personal computer and a remote maintenance program although a conventional remote maintenance system has needed a terminal adaptor, a personal computer and a remote maintenance program in some cases. SOLUTION: The remote maintenance system uses a key operation section 21 that sets configuration information or the like, a line control section 24 that transmits a maintenance command to an HSD(high-speed digital leased circuit) 3 according to a command from the key operation section 21 and receives reply information returned based on the maintenance command, and a state display section 22 that displays contents of the received reply information to conduct remote maintenance via an ISDN(integrated service digital network) communication line.
